Started my career after boot camp 1982 working on board USCG C Gallatin learning engineering hands on while I waited to attend electrician mate school. After completing electrician mate school in 1985 I work on base in Miami learning industrial electrician job while I wait to attend advance electrical & electronic electronic school. 1986 after I completed advanced electrician training I work aboard USCG C Aquidneck as shipboard electrician from the it was built until 1987.
Early 1987 I was transferred to the USCG 270 Mat Team where I was 1 of the highly trained electrician responsible for doing maintenance & instrument calibration on board newly built 270' and USCG Cutters.
November 1987 I left the US Coast Guard with a honorable Discharge & started a career in the US Merchant Marine as Chief Electrician. As a Chief electrician I'm the Merchant Marine
I worked on ships propulsion plants of various kinds. I also took care of the refrigeration containers, crane maintenance, etc.
In 2004 I left the Merchant Marine & worked at various ship yards where I reached the position of Electrical Shop Foreman.
In 2018 I resigned my position as Electrical shop Foreman & pursued my own business as a Shipboard repair company.
I have a EPA certification as well as a certification as a thermography inspector.
Marine Electrical Solutions LLC is my company to this present date.
